Method
- Peel and slice apples into rings.
- Dip apple rings into starter to coat.
- When a small amount of starter dropped into the oil reasily sizzles; carefully add apples to pan and cook until brown on both sides.
- Let the cooked pieces drain on cooling rack or paper towel.
- Sprinkle with (or dredge in) cinnamon and sugar mix.
- Enjoy warm.
Notes
Always keep a lid handy when doing shallow pan frying in case of fire.
