I want to start out by saying that if you have started reading this blog thinking that you have found an expert on urban homesteading, I want you to stop reading right now and find another source of information. This is a journal of sorts. An accounting of what we have done. What has worked and maybe more importantly what has not worked and what we learned along the way.

That was before we realized just how dependant we had become on undependable systems. But enough about that. Armed with a lovely little property an abundance of hopes, ideas and dreams we embarked on our journey as New Urban Homesteaders. Yikes!
